Why go
One of Malta's few wooded areas grew from the Knights' hunting reserve and remains closely associated with the adjoining Verdala Palace. Broadleaved trees, conifers and fruit groves create a setting unlike the island's usual dry scrub. The landscape also provides context for the traditional Imnarja celebrations held around Saints Peter and Paul's feast.
