Why go
Built in 1618, the tower defended a channel where corsairs could hide among Comino's caves and creeks. Its square mass, four corner turrets and elevated platform show the scale of the Wignacourt tower programme. The position also made it a communications link between Malta and Gozo, visible from both islands.
