The scale keeps changing in the Egyptian galleries. In the Model of a Granary with Scribes, small people handle a supply of grain. Hippopotamus ("William") brings a dangerous animal down to the size of an object held in the hand. Farther through the collection, the Temple of Dendur gives you a whole building to look around.
The rooms broadly follow time, but the objects also let you follow a purpose. What provides food, protects a person or presents a ruler? Our Egypt tour uses that thread. It takes you to Galleries 105, 111, 121, 131 and 134. Use the room numbers and the current open passages to move between them. You can stop after a few objects and still have a complete visit.
