Room numbers are especially useful on this part of Floor 2. In the 600-series galleries, you can find Vermeer in 614, Rembrandt in 616, Juan de Pareja in 625 and The Harvesters in 638. Each object’s card marks its own room.
The 800-series rooms offer another part of the visit. Degas’s woman beside a vase of flowers is in Gallery 810. Wheat Field with Cypresses is in 822, and Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with a Straw Hat is in 825. The portraits tour makes a sequence across the two areas. For a shorter stay, pick a face or a landscape and let its details set your pace.
