Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport has two terminals, and the Blue Line links the airport corridor with downtown Minneapolis. Amtrak serves Union Depot in Saint Paul, so a rail arrival needs a further trip across the Twin Cities. Drivers approach downtown mainly by I-35W, I-94 or I-394; the final interchange deserves attention before you reach it.
Useful to know
Confirm whether your flight uses Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 before arranging an airport meeting or onward trip.
For an Amtrak arrival, plan the connection from Saint Paul's Union Depot to your Minneapolis destination.
Check the current Blue Line timetable and any service notices before relying on an airport train.
