Vankovich House Museum
The Vankovich House Museum explores nineteenth-century artistic and domestic culture in a historic Upper Town house, a short distance from the main square.
The house offers a smaller, more personal counterpart to the National Art Museum. Its setting helps explain the social world around the painter Walenty Vankovich and the cultural life of the period. It rewards visitors interested in the relationship between art, interiors and the city's earlier educated society.
