Hlawga National Park
Hlawga National Park is a wildlife and recreation area north of Yangon. It offers a planned outdoor visit for watching animals and spending time among the park’s trees and water.
The park is one of the few nature stops near Yangon with a distinct conservation focus. The tourism ministry lists deer, birds, and boat recreation, while a January 2026 park report describes regular visitor arrivals and site rules. That report is evidence of recent use, though current opening, activity availability, and safe routes still need checking.
