Nga Htat Gyi Pagoda
Nga Htat Gyi Pagoda houses a large seated Buddha image in Yangon’s Bahan Township. It is a separate shrine from nearby Chaukhtatgyi, whose Buddha is reclining.
The seated image gives this temple its character and makes it a focused visit even when paired with nearby Chaukhtatgyi. The tourism ministry lists Nga Htat Gyi among Yangon’s pagodas, and the mapped point identifies a distinct compound. Look carefully at the scale and surrounding shrine setting, while confirming present-day entry arrangements before going.
