Pindaya Caves
Pindaya Caves are a limestone pilgrimage site above Pindaya, with galleries of donated Buddha images. The cave visit combines natural chambers with a dense record of devotion.
Inside the cave, thousands of Buddha images turn a natural formation into a layered religious space. A deliberate visit lets you see how figures from different periods fill the chambers, rather than treating the caves as a quick viewpoint. The tourism ministry identifies the attraction, but route and entry conditions in Shan State require fresh local checks.
