Toledo metro station
Toledo station turns an ordinary Line 1 journey into a short art visit. The blue and white spaces are below street level, so leave a little time beyond your train connection.
Why go
The station is a different kind of Naples sight: contemporary design folded into everyday transport. Descending through its layered concourse is the point, not merely arriving on a platform. It works well when you are already crossing Via Toledo, and it adds a sheltered art stop to a walking day.
What to look for
Blue-toned descending concourse
Art integrated into the station architecture
Useful to know
Allow time to look around without obstructing passengers.
Check current station access if making a trip solely for the art.
