Bridget Riley’s Messengers places coloured forms across the wall of this visitor space. You can look at how the shapes relate to the architecture while moving through the court. The work is separate from the historical painting displays upstairs.
Annenberg Court was created from a former internal courtyard during the East Wing redevelopment of 2003–05. It connects visitor facilities on Level 0 with the Getty side of the building and the route towards the collection. Do not confuse it with Central Hall on Level 2. Use the floor signs when choosing the stair or lift connection you need.
