Take in the scale of the full-length portraits before concentrating on a face. A standing figure can address the viewer through clothing, pose and the space allowed around the body. The display brings together portraits made across several centuries.
Central Hall is also a useful point of orientation on Level 2. The Room 13 stair and lift area lies to the west, and Room 39 to the east. It is separate from Annenberg Court, which is on Level 0. Check the floor as well as the space name when choosing a meeting point or finding your way back to an entrance.
