Rosa Bonheur’s The Horse Fair is displayed in the stair area between Room 12 and Central Hall. The painting brings horses in motion into a place where visitors also move between floors. Find a position on the landing that leaves the stairs and doorways clear.
Use the floor signs to choose the stair or lift connection you need. The main painting galleries are on Level 2. Choose Level 0 for the ground-floor visitor facilities, and keep the floor number in mind when returning to the paintings.
