Why go
The Promenade des Anglais gives Nice its easiest sea-level panorama. Its long public edge supports a short pause or a longer walk, with the bay on one side and the city’s landmark buildings on the other. The blue chairs make the view itself a reason to stop rather than simply pass through.
What to look for
- Baie des Anges seen from the blue chairs.
- Palm-lined waterfront path.
- City façades along the seafront.
Useful to know
- Choose a short section if you mainly want the bay view; the promenade extends well beyond the central sights.
- Combine a seafront walk with a view of Le Negresco’s façade.
