This route suits visitors who want an indoor art day with short walks between galleries. The New Museum introduces contemporary art and design close to the station. Continue to Kunsthaus Nürnberg for another exhibition setting, then walk east to Kunstvilla, a former mansion used for art. Allow time at each institution rather than trying to add the much larger Germanisches Nationalmuseum to the same day. Check current exhibitions and access at all three venues before setting out. If one exhibition does not appeal, the other two stops still form a coherent route.
