Memorium Nuremberg Trials at the Palace of Justice
Visit the Memorium inside the Palace of Justice to understand the postwar Nuremberg Trials. Courtroom 600 is central, but its access can differ from the exhibition's.
Why go
The Palace of Justice was chosen for the trials of major Nazi leaders after the Second World War because it had court space and an adjoining prison. The Memorium explains the proceedings and their legal legacy in the building where they happened. This is a courtroom and museum visit, distinct from the former Nazi rally grounds elsewhere in the city.
What to look for
Courtroom 600 can be seen when court access allows.
Exhibits explain the Nuremberg Trials inside the Palace of Justice.
The courthouse still serves the justice system.
Useful to know
Check Memorium admission and Courtroom 600 access separately before travelling.
Allow time to read the exhibition rather than treating the courtroom as a photo stop.
