The trail rises through Villa La Angostura’s wooded hillside to a lake-facing lookout. From the viewpoint, the Correntoso and Nahuel Huapi waters sit below mountain slopes, rewarding the climb with a wider sense of the basin. The Inacayal waterfall is reached on another branch and can extend the same hike.
Useful to know
Allow about 120 minutes for the full return walk to Belvedere from the trail start; travel to the trailhead is separate.
At the signed fork take the viewpoint branch; adding Inacayal makes one longer combined outing.
