Why go

The reserve protects cypress woodland close to El Bolsón and has three named outlooks rather than one summit panorama. Mirador Sur faces the Lago Puelo direction, while the other viewpoints show town, farmland, and surrounding peaks. Follow the yellow route marks from the chosen entrance, then return by the marked way.

Useful to know

  • Allow about 90 minutes for the marked reserve walk and return from the chosen Cerro Amigo entrance.
  • Municipal tourism publishes 09:00–19:00 and paid entry but does not specify days; confirm today’s opening before starting.
