Arriving by air
Pattaya has two main airport approaches: U-Tapao to the south and Bangkok's main international airport farther north. Compare the onward journey as well as the flight before choosing.
Why go
U-Tapao is the closer airport for Pattaya and sits south of the city; it also has a connection to the area's aviation history. Bangkok's main international airport offers another approach from the north. Your final hotel district matters because a transfer to Naklua, central Pattaya or Jomtien adds a separate road leg.

Check current flights and ground transfers for both airports before booking; services change.
