Pattaya is reached from Bangkok and other parts of Thailand by bus, road or rail. The useful choice depends on your arrival point, luggage and final district.
Why go
The city has several bus departure points rather than one universal terminal. For drivers, Sukhumvit Road and Motorway 7 are the main named approaches in the older route guidance. Pattaya also has a station east of Sukhumvit Road, making rail an option if its current timetable matches your day.
