Getting to Pattaya
Most arrivals reach Pattaya by road from Bangkok or Suvarnabhumi Airport. U-Tapao lies south of the city, while bus and rail options need a separate transfer to your hotel.
Why go
Compare the whole journey, including its final leg. Bangkok’s road links feed into Sukhumvit Road and the motorway approach to Pattaya. U-Tapao is closer to the city but its flight and onward transport choices differ. Buses can arrive at a terminal away from your hotel, and Pattaya’s railway station is inland.
