Kakadu National Park
Kakadu is an extensive protected landscape in the Northern Territory's Alligator Rivers region. Its monsoonal wet and dry seasons shape what can be seen and how a visit should be planned.
Kakadu rewards a landscape-scale plan. The park extends far beyond one lookout or walk, and seasonal rain changes its waterways and terrain. Start with the part of the park you want to understand, then check conditions for that area; a single stop cannot stand for the whole national park.
