Getting to Phuket
Phuket International Airport is in the island's northwest, so the onward journey depends heavily on the town or beach where you are staying.
Why go
Arrival planning matters because Phuket Town and the main beach areas are separate destinations, not interchangeable stops. An airport connection to Phuket Town may still leave another leg to Patong, Kata or Karon, while a direct transfer can avoid that change. Confirm the current route before travel.
