Why go
Start in Patong for the island’s most urban beach contrast, then move north to Kamala Beach for a calmer bay and a more compact beach-town setting. Surin Beach adds a shorter, more exposed strand, while Bang Tao Beach gives the day its longest sweep of sand and room for a later walk. This route is about comparison rather than collecting swims: choose one or two beaches for longer water time and use the others as shorter landscape stops. Road traffic and monsoon flags should decide how much of the sequence remains practical.
