Avenida Juárez runs from Highway 307 toward the southern downtown and ferry area, while the numbered avenues run roughly parallel to the beach. Quinta Avenida is the main pedestrian shopping street; Avenida 30 lies farther inland. That layout makes short central trips easier to judge, but sites beyond town need transport along the coastal road.
