Origin and Destiny
Pedro Tello's Origin and Destiny groups distinct bronzes around a fountain at Allende Street. Canoe, whale, chimera, obelisk and wheel forms make it a sculpture best read in stages.

At Allende Street, Pedro Tello's Origin and Destiny is a cluster to explore piece by piece rather than a single statue. Look for the canoe, whale, chimera, obelisk and wheel around the fountain. The tourism account says the whale sends out a water jet and the obelisk contains an hourglass feature; their operation may vary. Its nautical and mechanical imagery gives you several forms to compare during a short stop.
