Playa Las Gemelas
Las Gemelas consists of twin little beaches separated by a rocky outcrop south of town. A slippery roadside stairway and lack of facilities shape the visit despite inviting blue-green water.

Las Gemelas is literally a pair of small beaches split by a rocky outcrop; the northern half is often busier on weekends. The roadside pedestrian entrance descends by steps that can be slippery, and the guide says there are no facilities on the sand. Fine amber sand, blue-green water and views toward Los Arcos make it appealing for a quieter swim or snorkel, provided you bring what you need and assess the waves.
