Ialysos Town
Ialysos is a modern town on Rhodes’s northwest side, useful for locating the coast and nearby sights. Filerimos is a separate hilltop archaeological visit.
The town helps orient a northwest-coast stay or route from Rhodes Town. Its ancient name can cause confusion: the archaeological remains associated with ancient Ialysos are on Filerimos hill, so navigate to Filerimos itself if those ruins are the reason for your trip.
