Feraklos Castle
Feraklos Castle is a ruined hilltop fortress above Charaki. Its surviving walls and views toward Agathi Beach show the defensive value of this central east-coast position.
The fortress makes the relationship between the coast and the heights easy to see. From the ruins, look toward both Charaki and Agathi to understand why this hill mattered as a lookout. The visit adds a medieval perspective to nearby beach time, but the climb and exposed ground make it a separate choice rather than a casual extension of a swim.
