Limni Beach (Apolakkia)
A long, relatively undeveloped strand and dunes line Apolakkia Bay. Come for a spacious southwest beach walk; the exposed water and limited services make swimming a separate decision.
Limni Beach puts dunes and open shoreline at the centre of the visit, far from the built-up setting at Kiotari. Walking the strand is rewarding even if the sea is unsuitable for swimming. The contrast between the wide bay and its sparse development makes this a landscape stop as much as a beach stop, especially for travelers exploring the island’s southwest.
