Taxis and Water Taxis
Taxis are useful for direct journeys when walking or public transport does not fit, while water taxis offer a river-based way to move between landing points.
Why go
Most central distances can be covered on foot, by bicycle or public transport, so a road taxi is best kept for a specific need: luggage, late travel or a less direct destination. A water taxi is different. On the Nieuwe Maas it makes the river part of the journey and can be useful when a landing point matches your plans on opposite shores.
