Why go
Pyrgos rewards the climb through its village lanes: the higher you go, the wider the island panorama becomes. The Kasteli ruins mark its fortified past, and the surrounding traditional buildings and churches make the ascent more than a viewpoint hunt. It offers a different perspective from Santorini’s caldera-rim villages.
