Duwamish Head
Duwamish Head is the northern point of West Seattle, where Elliott Bay views open toward downtown, the working waterfront and the Olympic Mountains.
Why go
The headland explains Seattle’s maritime geography from the opposite side of Elliott Bay. Pair it with the Alki shoreline or Hamilton Viewpoint rather than treating it as a formal attraction. Clear weather brings the skyline and mountain backdrop into the same panorama, with the working harbor in the foreground.
