Kerry Park
Kerry Park is a small Queen Anne overlook whose view brings downtown Seattle, Elliott Bay, the West Seattle peninsula, Bainbridge Island and Mount Rainier into one frame.
Why go
Kerry Park is valuable for a concentrated view rather than a long park visit. Given to the city in 1927, it looks south from Queen Anne Hill across downtown and water toward Mount Rainier on clear days. Doris Totten Chase's steel sculpture, Changing Form, adds a foreground element to the skyline composition.
