Getting Around Seville
Central Seville is easiest on foot, while trams, buses and the metro help with longer jumps to stations, outer districts and the opposite riverbank.
Why go
Plan transport around the compact monumental core rather than riding between every sight. Walk Cathedral–Alcázar–Santa Cruz sequences, then use public transport when connecting Santa Justa, Cartuja or places beyond the centre. That division keeps short central walks efficient while preserving public transport for meaningful distances.
Useful to know
Protect walking time from midday heat with shade, water and an indoor pause.
Check the current operator map before relying on a route or stop name.
