Using the Seville Metro
Seville's single metro line is most useful for cross-city trips beyond the historic core, while central monuments still require walking from nearby stations.
Why go
Use the metro as a connector rather than a sightseeing circuit. It can simplify journeys between the metropolitan corridor and central interchange points, but it does not replace the street-level walk among the Cathedral, Alcázar and Santa Cruz. This distinction prevents a simple connector from becoming an unnecessary detour beneath the centre.

Allow a surface walk from the nearest station to monuments in the historic core.
