Shanghai has two main airports: Pudong is the major international gateway, while Hongqiao serves many domestic flights and sits closer to central districts.
Confirm your airport and terminal before leaving, since Pudong and Hongqiao are on different sides of a large city. Pudong connects to the east of Shanghai, while Hongqiao is closer to western Puxi. Check your airline, airport transfer and current rail or road service before arrival.
