Why go
This museum provides a different view of China from the city’s history and art collections. Animal, plant and mineral specimens place familiar species beside organisms from across the country. The move to Jing’an Sculpture Park in 2015 also makes the building part of the experience, with the surrounding public space offering a useful outdoor change of pace.
