Why go
Set aside this outing for travelers who want to see temple forms beyond central Angkor. Begin at Lolei Temple, whose surviving brick towers recall an island setting. At Preah Ko, look for the ordered rows of towers and the sacred-bull figures. Bakong Temple provides the largest finish: its tiers and enclosure show a different architectural scale. These three Roluos sites form a manageable local sequence once you reach the area, but the trip from Siem Reap is separate and needs its own travel allowance. Confirm how you will reach Roluos and return before leaving town.
