Arriving by ferry or cruise
Sea routes connect Singapore with islands in Indonesia and the Johor coast in Malaysia. Your departure port matters: the ferry terminals sit in different parts of the island.
Why go
A ferry can make sense for a trip involving Batam, Bintan or southeastern Johor. HarbourFront sits near Sentosa, while Tanah Merah and the Changi terminals serve the east. Marina Bay Cruise Centre handles cruise traffic. Match the terminal to your actual sailing before arranging your city transfer.
Useful to know
Check the operator’s current sailing, terminal and check-in instructions; routes and fares can change.
Leave time for immigration and customs on international sailings.
Arrange transport from the terminal itself, especially at the eastern terminals.
