Azenhas do Mar Beach
A small beach below the cliffside village has a distinct shoreline experience from the viewpoint above. Descending to the sand gives a different view from the road above.
The close view of white houses descending to the sea is striking, and a short beach stop complements the panorama from the upper road. Its usable sand varies with tide and surf, so check conditions before descending. The upper viewpoint gives the panorama; the shore brings you beneath the houses.
What to look for
White village houses rise above the small shore.
Useful to know
Check tide and surf before using the beach access.
