Sečovlje Salina Nature Park
Walk through the managed salt-pan landscape near the Croatian border to see channels, salt-making heritage and wetland habitats shaped by a long relationship with the sea.
The park joins working-landscape history with nature observation. Its flat basins and water channels explain how salt production altered the coast and created habitats for birds. Choose an entrance and a realistic walking section before arrival, since the park has separate access points and the exposed landscape feels very different from the lanes of nearby Piran.
