Tolmin Gorges
Walk the managed route through the Tolminka and Zadlaščica gorges for narrow rock passages, river confluences and elevated views at Triglav National Park's lower edge.
The route gives several perspectives on a compact but steep river landscape. Steps and railings connect viewpoints, pools and the confluence, while Devil's Bridge adds a higher angle. Treat the gorges as an active walking visit with ascent and descent; weather and maintenance conditions can alter which sections form the route on a particular day.
What to look for
The Tolminka and Zadlaščica meet within the Tolmin Gorges.
Bear's Head is a large rock wedged between the walls of the Zadlaščica canyon.
