Sochi Art Museum
Sochi Art Museum presents its collection inside a monumental 1930s building designed by Ivan Zholtovsky. The building's exterior and galleries make it a combined art and architecture stop.
Visit for two layers of interest in one central location: the art collection indoors and the imposing Zholtovsky building that contains it. Looking at the facade before entering helps set the museum within Sochi's twentieth-century civic landscape. Give yourself enough time for the galleries rather than treating the building as only an exterior photograph.
