Sochi History Museum

Why go

Start here if you want a framework for the changing city you see outside. The local collections bring Sochi's history into one place, making later stops at civic buildings and the waterfront more meaningful. The exhibits offer a stronger sense of the city's settlement and development than a walk past landmarks alone.

What to look for

• Trace the city's local history through the municipal museum collections.
• Municipal collections assemble local history in one central stop.

Useful to know

• Confirm current museum admission before making this the anchor of a central history walk.
