Ibiza Cathedral
Ibiza Cathedral stands at the top of the walled old town. Its Gothic and Baroque fabric rewards the climb as well as a look inside.
Why go
The cathedral’s restrained exterior shows the site’s defensive and religious setting, while later alterations changed the interior character. Reaching it through Dalt Vila’s rising streets is part of understanding its place above the port. Allow for the ascent rather than treating it as a flat city-center stop.
What to look for
The Gothic and Baroque fabric.
The cathedral terrace above the port.
Useful to know
Approach through the old town gates and allow for the sloped streets up to the cathedral.
