Rosensteinpark

Walk through a landscaped royal park with mature trees, broad lawns and paths between Stuttgart’s two natural-history museum buildings. The outdoor landscape is a worthwhile visit even when you skip the collections.

Why go

The English-style park uses open grass and groups of trees to create changing views rather than formal flowerbeds alone. Its paths connect the Rosenstein palace area with the Löwentor end of the grounds. This gives a museum day room to breathe and offers a separate landscape walk within Stuttgart’s larger Green U park network.

What to look for

  • Mature native and exotic trees.
  • Open lawns and curving landscape paths.
  • Views around Schloss Rosenstein.

Useful to know

  • Choose the park walk separately from admission to either museum building.
