Place To'ata
Stop at To’ata’s waterfront square, a public gathering place with restaurants and an open-air performance venue that plays a central role in Tahiti’s cultural calendar.
The large square was created on reclaimed land and inaugurated in 2000. Its performance space is strongly associated with Heiva, while the surrounding public area offers an everyday waterfront stop. The open space lets visitors see how a communal gathering place connects the seafront with Tahiti’s performance traditions.
