Kadriorg
Kadriorg mixes a former imperial retreat, parkland, wooden streets and major art museums east of Tallinn's centre. It rewards time beyond the Old Town.
Peter the Great's palace gives the district its imperial focus, while Kumu Art Museum tells a much broader Estonian cultural story in a striking later building. The park connects these different scales, and the area's older wooden houses recall its seaside resort years. It suits an outing that alternates buildings with open air.
