Victorio Macho Museum
Victorio Macho’s former home at Roca Tarpeya brings sculpture and a river-edge setting together. The visit connects the artist’s work with the place where he lived and worked.
The sculptures and portraits are easier to understand when seen in the setting of Macho’s own house and workshop. This is a personal art collection rather than a general survey of Toledo painting. The site’s position above the Tagus adds a second perspective, connecting the artist’s home to the landscape around the historic city.
